Founded in 1989 on Christian principles of integrity and uncompromising customer service driven by tenacity and professionalism by father and son Bill and Bryan Jameson, Jameson Logistics started out as a pure non asset based freight brokerage. With backgrounds in national sales management and brokerage management for refrigerated and dry motor carriers, Bill and Bryan originally operated out of Bill's garage from which the company serviced primarily the perishable markets between Florida and the East Coast. In 1991 Mark Jameson joined the company after a career in Michigan as both a buyer and seller of LTL or Less Than Truckload freight transportation services in the manufacturing sector and asset based motor carriage.
With an emphasis on superior customer service and competitive pricing Jameson Logistics grew by offering not only truckload freight movement but also transportation management services to such companies as Con Agra, General Mills, Sysco Foods and Aaron Rents. Jameson Logistics continued to grow, moving into new facilities in 1993 and then again in 2007 into their current facility in New Port Richey, Florida with several expansions in between. In 2003 FreightGo.COM was added as an on line less than truckload freight service to compliment its primary logistics programs. Now serving thousands of companies in markets including dry and perishable foods, major appliances, building materials, plastics, consumer products and handling specialized over-weight and over-dimensional, time sensitive, international and U.S. government shipments, Jameson Logistics has grown to be a major force in the trucking and transportation services sector.
Jameson Logistics subscribes to the highest industry ethical standards. In addition to numerous recognitions and awards throughout the years Jameson Logistics was recognized in 2008 as a TOP 50 3PL by Food Logistics Magazine. Bryan and Mark Jameson attribute the company's success to a highly trained and professional staff that serves its customer and carrier partners through its main office in Florida and eight agent offices across the United States. Its state of the art computerized routing and freight management systems, coupled with strong logistics and freight transportation partnerships, empowers Jameson Logistics with the ability to serve commercial and industrial accounts in nearly every economic sector.
